CETec, Inc. began operations in Pelham, AL in 2003 and its assets were purchased by Durham Holdings, Inc. and moved to Lawrenceville, GA in 2012. Cetec, Inc.
Today CETec’s (Civil Engineering Technology) business is to support the machining requirements of MME Testing, as a job shop for machining specific items to customer requirements, and the manufacturing of consumable testing equipment used for verification testing of soil, concrete and asphalt used in civil construction.
CETec has a full mechanical design function, machining and welding capabilities that allow it to provide design and specialized machining and assembly to other companies. For example, they subcontract in the production of a unique pneumatic pump used to remove leachate from landfills. This pump differs from competitors with the fewest moving parts and communication that allow the owner to monitor individual pump performance via their smart phone or PC.
